The view from Mount Ascutney, on the Cascade Falls Trail

Beech Forest
This spot is up the "Cascade Falls Trail", on the West side of Ascutney. A short drive in the
car around Ascutney from the house through a beautiful valley. Once there, walk through a Beech forest,
up the trail, and up the stairs carved into the smaller cascade. This view is from there, and from this point
on there are stunning views, including the scene atop the larger cascade. From there you can hike to the
top of Ascutney, to the old fire watchtower, and behold 360 degree views that encompass Mt. Okemo, Killington,
Mt. Washington in New Hampshire, and the Connecticut river.
